Weekly blog guidelines
UAL exam board and awarding body put a large weight of their marking and assessment on 'SELF EVALUATION'
Especially in these uncertain times they, and us, need to see that you have learnt and are continuously assessing your progress.
In order to do this you are required to complete an EVALUATION at the end of each unit but also a WEEKLY BLOG outlining what you have done each week.
These items are marked as one piece and need to be at distinction level if that is the overall grade you are going for.
You will get guidance on your evaluations but you must complete your weekly blogs you way.
These can be in the form of
Every week you must
Include
If weekly blogs are missing or are brief and short they could have a huge effect on your overall grade.
If for some reason you can't film or something went very wrong but you have documented your WHOLE process you could still get a high grade (if what went wrong wasn't your fault). These weekly blogs could save your grade so make sure they are up to date.
Some lessons will be given over to you writing these but some weeks we don't have time so it is your responsibility to complete in your own time.
